Privacy notice
We only hold what we need to sell you the product, give you access to it and support you. Nothing is sold on and nothing is shared with anybody who does not need it to run the service.
Your name and email address when you buy or enquire. Your payment is taken by Stripe, so your card details go straight to them and we never see or store them. If you use the tools inside the product, the business figures you enter are stored against your account so you can come back to them.
To carry out the contract you entered into when you bought, to meet our legal duties such as keeping tax records, and where we have a legitimate interest in running and improving the product. Any marketing email we send you is one you have asked for, and every one has an unsubscribe link.
The companies that run our payments, email, hosting and course platform process data on our behalf under contract. They are not allowed to use it for anything else.
Account and purchase records for as long as we have to for tax and accounting, and then we delete them. Your saved figures stay until you delete them or close your account.
You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or tell us to stop sending you marketing. Email support and we will sort it. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office if you are not happy with how we have handled it.
We use the cookies needed to make the site, the checkout and your login work, and basic analytics to see which pages people read. Nothing is used to build a profile of you or sold to advertisers.
Terms of sale
Electricians Business In A Box is digital business guidance and a set of online tools for self-employed electricians working in the UK. You pay once and you get access to the whole thing for as long as we run it. There is no monthly fee.
Your login is emailed to you once your payment has gone through. Access is for you, one person, one business. Please do not share your login or pass the documents on. We can suspend an account that is being shared.
Prices are in pounds sterling and shown on the sales page. Payment is taken securely by Stripe. Founder pricing applies while the launch window is open and the price then changes, as stated on the page at the time you buy.
This is digital content delivered immediately. When you buy, you are asking us to give you access straight away and you accept that you lose the fourteen day cancellation right you would otherwise have for digital content under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. For that reason we do not offer refunds once your login has been issued.
If something is not working, or you have been charged twice, or you cannot get in, email support and we will put it right.
It is general business guidance, not legal, tax, accountancy or regulatory advice, and it is not technical or electrical advice. It does not tell you what to charge. Tax rates, thresholds and rules change, so anything that affects your money or your liability should be checked on GOV.UK or with your accountant before you act on it. You stay responsible for your own business decisions, your own compliance and your own work.
The figures and notes you put into the tools are yours. The documents, tools, templates and wording we provide are ours, and you may use them in your own business but not resell them, publish them or pass them on.
We keep the material up to date and may improve or replace parts of it. We aim to keep the service available at all times but cannot promise it will never be offline.
Nothing here limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Otherwise our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the product, and we are not liable for business losses such as lost profit arising from decisions you make.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
